The ARS EQUINA veterinary clinic is one of the pioneering facilities in Catalonia and Spain in sports veterinary care for horses.
ARS EQUINA has been at the service of horse health for more than 20 years, specializing in locomotor system pathologies.
ARS EQUINA, led by Dr. Pablo Serra, bases its healthcare practice on four axes:
- Preventive medicine
- Diagnosis of pathologies of the musculoskeletal system and its correct treatment
- Rehabilitation of problems and diseases of the equine musculoskeletal system including bones, joints, muscles, ligaments, tendons and nerves
- Clear and efficient communication with the client (both rider and owner)
It has one hectare of modern facilities with paddocks, boxes and a work track next to the AP-7 motorway and the C-60 motorway and at the foot of the Corredor and Montnegre natural park.
The clinic has one hectare of land dedicated exclusively to the care of hospitalized horses. It includes a 20 X 30 meter track to work the animals and to be able to make a correct diagnosis of lameness as well as a paved area to be able to work the animals on a hard surface. All this in an excellent environment, at the foot of the Corredor y Montnegre natural park, and perfectly communicated with the main roads.

Pablo Serra de Fortuny is a recognized orthopedic specialist certified member of ISELP (International Society of Equine Locomotor Pathology) with more than 30 years of experience and training in the world of equine sports medicine.
Passionate about the world of horses and seeing the need to specialize in the locomotor system,, he founded the ARS EQUINA clinic in 2000, a pioneer in advanced treatments, holding the position of veterinary director.
He currently also works as an ultrasound instructor, sharing his knowledge in the training modules organized by ISELP (International Society of Equine Locomotor Pathology) and by BEVA (British Equine Veterinary Association), teaching being another of his great passions.
